Job Description

The Commi 1 will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes across Indian, Chinese, and Tandoor sections. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in a multi-cuisine kitchen, with strong knowledge of traditional and modern cooking methods, food hygiene, and plating techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and present dishes from Indian, Chinese, and Tandoor cuisines as per menu and chef instructions.
Ensure consistency in taste, portion, and presentation.
Maintain kitchen hygiene and follow food safety standards (FSSAI compliance).
Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and mise en place preparation.
Monitor and minimize wastage of ingredients.
Assist in inventory control and proper storage of raw materials.
Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely food service during peak hours.
Uphold cleanliness and organization in workstations at all times.
Contribute to menu innovation and new recipe trials when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Certification in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a reputed restaurant or hotel, specializing in Indian, Chinese, and Tandoor cuisine.
Strong knowledge of Indian gravies, Chinese sauces, and Tandoor operations.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple orders.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Must maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, rotational shifts including weekends and holidays.

Salary:

20 to 25k.
