Job Description

Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment related to continental dishes.Assist in the preparation, cooking, and garnishing of continental dishes under the supervision of senior chefs.Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation as per standard recipes.Support Chef de Partie in menu planning, mise-en-place, and kitchen organization.Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of raw materials and prepared items (FIFO method).Comply with food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards.Assist in receiving and checking deliveries to ensure quality and quantity.Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy operations.
