Job Description

Operations & Service Excellence

Oversee daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
Monitor food and beverage preparation to maintain quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.
Implement SOPs for service, cleanliness, and health & safety compliance.
Ensure equipment, stock, and seating areas are well-maintained and ready for operations.

Staff Management

Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise café staff (baristas, servers, kitchen staff, etc.).
Motivate and monitor staff performance, ensuring excellent customer service.
Conduct regular team meetings and staff evaluations.
Handle disciplinary actions and resolve conflicts when necessary.

Financial & Business Management

Manage café budgets, sales targets, and cost controls.
Monitor stock levels, place orders, and control wastage.
Analyze sales reports and customer feedback to improve operations and profitability.
Develop marketing strategies, promotions, and events to drive footfall and revenue.

Customer Relations

Ensure every guest receives a warm welcome and outstanding service.
Handle customer complaints or escalations promptly and professionally.
Build strong relationships with regular customers and community partners.

Compliance & Standards

Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, safety, and licensing regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and ambiance standards in line with brand image.
Stay updated with café industry trends and introduce new menu ideas or service improvements.
